My name’s Savannah and I’m the blogger (and budget coffee connoisseur) behind 99% Coffee!
I have been Crocheting since I was 10 and have been knitting since I was about 16 or so. I’ve always dreamed of being able to make my own patterns and sharing what I know with those around me. I’ve been blogging on other platforms since I was around 12 or 13, but this is my first step into the fiber arts space.
The first patterns I published include two kitchen patterns that became a staple in my family kitchens: the Stars & Stripes Potholder and the Making Waves Dishcloth. Since then, I’ve started working on things like Hats, Blankets, and have a backlog of patterns written down in my handy little notebook waiting for completion & testing!
Aside from working with fiber, you can find me playing video games! I’m a huge fan of strategy games as well as games that let me get creative. Some of my favorites:
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Civilization V & VI
- Pokemon
- Minecraft
Outside of the sphere of games and fiber art, I am working my normal 9-5 job as an IT Specialist in Higher Education. I’ve been into programming since I was young (around 10 years old) and have continued to stay in the Technology field as computers and systems have gotten more advanced. I built my first PC at 18 and have since rebuilt and adjusted to my own liking many times. To say i’m a bit of a tech nerd would be an understatement.
I presently live in the good ol’ cornfields of Illinois with my brother and senior cat, Angel. She’s presently 17 years old and still kicking! I absolutely love cats and will always have a cat (or 3) in my life.
